Hello,

We are Tom & Kati Lancaster,

We've been residents of Greenhouse since August 2010 and fell in love with the place as soon as we saw it. Living here, it's the culture & ethos that makes the place thrive and we're proud to be a part of the Greenhouse community. Our opportunity now to share this with people visiting Leeds is very exciting.

We got involved from day one with the community of Greenhouse from looking after the bikes in the bike club, to helping with the allotments and serving fine local produce to residents and office workers from the on-site deli.

Our influences...

When we got married we decided to go to Copenhagen for our honeymoon. Kati is from Switzerland (a very forward thinking & sustainable country) and we wanted to explore this way of life further. We loved Copenhagen's conscious effort to make a positive impact on the world from organic foods to recycled and ethically traded goods - it was the perfect place! Our hotel was a beautiful natural space boasting organic foods, local produce throughout and considered all the little details.

On coming back from honeymoon we decided to make a conscious effort to live a sustainable life. Greenhouse made this very possible for us without having to live in a yurt. Believe us, it was an option!

Through the apart-hotel we now want to share this experience and ethos with other people who don't have the privilege of living at Greenhouse every day.

We are very proud to be part of Greenhouse and being able to offer the Greenhouse experience to our guests. As resident hosts of Greenhouse Apart-Hotel, we want to create an unique experience for you, our guests. That’s why, we, as a couple, have committed to take every opportunity to ensure you enjoy your stay.
