Work Space

Everything you need to know
about Greenhouse work space.
Community
It's the people that really make Greenhouse...

What really sets Greenhouse apart from other city centre offices is the community that exists within the building. We think it's important that you can knock on the office next door and say “Hi” and we do our very best to help the working community thrive within the building. And of course by encouraging businesses to get to know each other, it’s good for trade. Whether that’s to refer a potential client onto another business, or even better to use each other’s services.

We recognise that in order to help people get to know each other, it's important that we host regular activities to get people talking. And of course having the offices located around a central courtyard really helps with this. Some great events we've organised to date included a courtyard party for the Royal Wedding, movie nights in Greenspace (the events space), the allotment dig and BBQ, a bike race for bike week and a courtyard farmers market.

It really helps to have a mix of amenities in the building and also in the local area which give people to opportunity to get to know each other. Here is a brief list:

  • Meet friends and other office workers whilst enjoying a coffee at The Greenhouse Deli
  • Host a BBQ in the courtyard and get residents and workers involved
  • Put your skills forward for the 11 a side football team organised by Glenn (one of our residents)
  • Join our "Greenhouse Community Group" on Facebook and see what other offices are up to
  • Turn your hand to growing your own with a trip down to the allotments with other budding growers
  • Test your knowledge at the Greenhouse pub quiz hosted down the road at our local, The Golden Lion pub
  • Watch a movie with work colleagues on the big projection screen in the events space
  • Attend the annual Beeston Festival and get to know the wider local community
  • The list goes on...
  • It's the people that make the place and we're really lucky to have such a great mix of people at Greenhouse.
