about living at Greenhouse....
Community
It's the people the really make Greenhouse...

What really sets Greenhouse apart from other city centre apartments is the community that exists within the building. We think it's important that you can knock on your neighbours door and ask to borrow a cup of sugar and we do our very best to help he community thrive within the building.

When people ask "What sort of people live at Greenhouse?", we say "There is no type!". We're really proud of the great mix of people who live and work in the building. We have families, mature students, young professionals, owner occupiers, long term renters, creative types, artists, musicians, chefs in fact the list just goes on!

We recognise that in order to help people get to know each other, it's important that we host regular events to get people talking. Some great events we've organised to date included a courtyard party for the Royal Wedding, movie nights in Greenspace (the events space), the allotment dig and BBQ, a bike race for bike week and a courtyard farmers market. We're just waiting to host our first Greenhouse wedding! Any takers?

It really helps to have a mix of amenities in the building and also in the local area which give people to opportunity to get to know each other. Here is a brief list:

  • Meet friends and other residents whilst enjoying a coffee at The Greenhouse Deli
  • Host a BBQ in the courtyard and get residents and workers involved
  • Put your skills forward for the 11 a side football team organised by Glenn (one of our residents)
  • Join our "Greenhouse Community Group" on Facebook and see what other residents are up to
  • Turn your hand to growing your own with a trip down to the allotments with other budding growers
  • Test your knowledge at the Greenhouse pub quiz hosted down the road at our local, The Golden Lion pub
  • Watch a movie with friends on the big projection screen in the events space
  • Attend the annual Beeston Festival and get to know the wider local community
  • The list goes on...

It's the people that make the place and we're really lucky to have such a great mix of people at Greenhouse.
